The midday snacks were great, and the breakfast buffet had high-quality items. It’s a cold breakfast, though they’ll make toast if you ask. The coffee was the best I’ve had in Greece. The setting is beautiful and the staff were excellent, even helping us arrange a car hire. The rooms are standard Greek hotel style, but the cleaning team kept ours spotless and toiletries were supplied. I really can’t fault the hotel.

A short stroll gets you to lots of lovely tavernas, and the hotel sits right by the beach. The rooms are basic, but they’re spotless. Towels were replaced daily and the bedding every other day. Everyone on staff was lovely and friendly. We’ll be back!

It’s a family-run place where everything was kept spotless, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The pool was lovely and you step straight onto the beach. We usually go for five-star hotels, but wanted something different this time. The decor feels authentically Greek rather than up to date with magazine trends. A thermostatic shower would’ve been handy, if I’m being picky. Still, I couldn’t fault our stay and would come again.

The staff’s kindness and professionalism really stood out. Everyone from housekeeping to the kitchen and bar was welcoming. Mr. Sotiris and Mr. Makis deserve a special thank you for being ready with advice and help and checking that things were going smoothly. Porto Lygia is right by the sea, with peaceful views and a relaxed feel. Our room was simple, very clean, and well looked after. The cleaning team came each day to tidy, change the sheets and towels, always with a smile. Breakfast was a fresh buffet with plenty to get the day started. Other dishes were available to order separately and tasted very good. We appreciated the warm hospitality and service, and would happily return or recommend it to anyone visiting Lefkada.
