We loved the spot, and it was really clean. The sheets were changed and the rooms cleaned every day. Breakfast was very nice, with plenty of local food to choose from. The big downside was that the pool and the tables closed at 9 PM. After 9 or 10, there was nowhere to sit outdoors for a beer or a chat with friends, so we were limited to our private room balcony. That's a real drawback when you've come with friends and want to spend the evenings outside together.

The pool was a welcome extra, with clean water and lots of chairs and umbrellas. Our room had plenty of space and a balcony. It's a quiet spot, not too far from the pier, with plenty of shops nearby.

The location was good, and breakfast was decent. The pool looked nice, though I didn't swim in it. There were four of us squeezed into a very small room, and we kept bumping into things. The fourth bed wasn't a proper bed. We asked to move, but they were rude and didn't give us what we requested. I wouldn't come back.

The people were nice and fixed things whenever we asked, but the bathroom fixtures were so rusty they should have dealt with them without waiting for us to complain. We've spent three years visiting Thassos, and this was our worst stay so far. We kept quiet during the two weeks because we didn't want the problems to spoil our holiday, but I wouldn't recommend this place. The outside looked great, and the yard had a big, clean, lovely pool. Inside was a different story. Our room was small, with very old furniture and a tiny wardrobe. The air conditioner was mounted above a bed and banged against it, so sleeping with it on wasn't possible. A few nights were cool, but most of the time we were baking and only switched it on while in the bathroom. The wifi didn't work in the room, and cleaning and towel changes happened every three or four days. The bathroom was a decent size, but the sink and shower fittings were old and rusty. The sink pressure was just a trickle, too weak even to rinse your teeth, while the rest of the water leaked underneath and flooded the floor. Someone at reception fixed the leak after I asked, but the sink pressure stayed the same. The shower head was just as rusty, and the water barely had enough force to rinse off a little sand. I thought maybe it was because many people were showering at once. A few days later the shower fell off its stand and the head broke. Someone at the front desk replaced it, and finally there was enough pressure for the rest of our holiday. Breakfast changed for three days, then repeated. There were two kinds of salami, one kind of omelette, some cheese, spinach and onion spreads, plus cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers and olives each day. The fruit was melon, nectarines and pears. The coffee was the worst I've ever had, like colored water.
