Villa Sofia

The room was clean, with a nice smart home touch, and I had no complaints about it. We enjoyed our stay and had no other issues. The problem was how much we could hear through the very thin walls. You could hear people talking in other rooms, and if anyone got a little noisy, it was a nightmare trying to sleep. We could even hear water from other baths.

Getting to the villa was stressful: with only an hour until arrival, I still hadn't received its location or instructions for getting in. That felt uneasy and wasn't normal. The next day, though, they were very insistent about contacting me for the remaining payment. I didn't like the attitude and don't think that's how a host should behave. The room looked like the pictures and was very clean, and the location is good, with parking available. But the rest of the stay was a nightmare. Construction outside the villa made unbearable noise from 7 in the morning, and there was noise inside too. The walls are so thin you hear running water and people in the hallway and rooms. There are no house rules to encourage tourists to be more responsible. The front door is left open, so cats come in and meow. The internet didn't work at all. There were more downsides than upsides.

It's right by the centre, and the renovated rooms look modern and are clean. But there's hardly any storage for clothes or other things, and the walls are VERY thin. You can hear everything your neighbours do. Sleeping before half past 12 would be difficult. One night I had to ask another guest to turn down the TV, since I could hear every word of the show.

The location is great and easy to get to. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, though there's not much room for clothes. I highly recommend it.
