Cretan Seaside Boutique Hotel

The staff made a real difference during my stay. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and genuinely helpful, and they clearly wanted me to be comfortable. Check-in was quick and easy, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well equipped the room was. Everything was maintained nicely, which added to the relaxed feel. Seaside Hotel is conveniently placed near the city center and nearby attractions, but it was still quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Meals were served each day at the nearby Sunshine hotel. Its restaurant was okay, with a decent range of choices across the week. I had a fantastic time here and would gladly return or recommend it to someone after comfort, quality, and welcoming service.

The service was the best part of our stay. The bar staff were welcoming, attentive, and professional, especially Anthony and Maricris. They did their best to accommodate even small requests, and their friendly manner made us feel at home. We initially had mixed feelings because our first room had no view. After we asked politely, the hotel moved us after two nights to a much nicer room by the pool, which improved the holiday. The rooms were cleaned regularly and kept to a high standard by the housekeeping staff. There was also a group of young people behaving immaturely around the bar and pool. Their horseplay became dangerous, including breaking glasses by the pool, despite a noticeboard rule against that. The food was enjoyable enough, but the choices could be broader and dishes could be served a little hotter. We recently stayed at Seaside Boutique Hotel in Hersonissos, Crete, and had a pleasant visit overall. Some things, including the original room assignment and menu variety, could be better, but the hospitality left us open to returning. Thanks to the team, especially Anthony and Maricris.

The staff were attentive and helpful everywhere, from reception to the dining room and housekeeping. The hotel was quiet and in a good spot for a relaxing break away from the main tourist crowds. Our room was clean and standard for the hotel’s category. Food choices weren’t extensive, but there was always something we liked and we never went hungry. It was a nice, uncomplicated stay for a reasonable price, and I’d recommend it for a calm holiday.

The food was excellent, with something different each day. The Greek-style buildings and room decor gave the place a lot of atmosphere. Everything was clean and tidy, and we had no problems. The staff were open, friendly, and willing to help. I have wonderful memories of it and would definitely come back.
