Fedra Apartments Hersonissos

This was the dirtiest place I've ever stayed. I was there for six nights, but because of the period I stayed, there was no cleaning service. I barely saw any staff, and there wasn't a reception, which made the “hotel” feel very unsafe and insecure. A few times I met young men working there and asked for cleaning and fresh towels and sheets. They told me they worked for the hotel next door and only used this hotel's ground floor to prepare breakfast. Stay away!

We found the apartment exactly as shown in the photos, and it was perfectly clean, even under the beds. I worked in cleaning for 10 years, so I check these things. The beds were comfortable, and pool towels were available for free at reception. Water pressure was a little slow, but it was fine, and the location was good. We booked through a platform at the last minute, just 10 minutes before arriving, and got a huge discount, from €102 to €33 for one night. Check-in was very easy despite there being no staff there. We just called and Manolis told us which apartment to take. We met him when we left, and it was a pleasant meeting. Thanks for the comfortable hospitality. We hope to return. We booked a year ahead, but when my girlfriend and I arrived in the afternoon, no one was at reception. We waited two hours for the owner to show up, only to be told the Airbnb was fully booked and there was no room for us. Then we waited at least another hour while he arranged somewhere else. The replacement Airbnb was poor and not even close to the one we'd booked. I wouldn't recommend staying here. Be careful.

This place is gross, don't come here! We had three cockroaches in the room, and there was no way for us to turn on the air conditioning, so it was boiling at night.
