Glaros Beach Hotel

We had a lovely stay, and the location made it easy to get to everything we needed. The food was delicious throughout. One letdown was the beach, which can practically disappear when the waves are high, so it may disappoint if you're hoping to spend lots of time by the sea. The staff made a big difference, especially Josif and the head waiter. Both were professional, attentive and genuinely friendly, and made us feel welcome and well cared for.

Dear Hotel Management, The welcome we received from Thalia at reception was the best part of our stay. She was warm and customer-focused, always gave us the information we needed, and did so patiently, with a smile and a real willingness to help. She made our visit more pleasant, and I want to thank her sincerely. Unfortunately, several other things made for a difficult stay. On the morning of 26.08.2025, breakfast service was unpleasant. I politely asked the woman serving on the left-hand side of the restaurant, coming from reception, to clear a table. She sounded annoyed and asked whether I hadn't already found an available one. Even if I had overlooked a free table, that tone didn't feel suitable for guest service. We were also woken early every day by unloading activity at the hotel. That isn't the rest and relaxation we expected. At check-in, after arriving very late, I first politely asked whether the local tax could be checked with the travel agency to confirm everything was in order. Then, since we'd arrived so late and booked two rooms, I asked if we could pay the tax for one fewer day. The man at reception raised his voice instead of explaining clearly, and his younger colleague was rude too. This was disappointing conduct from front office staff in hospitality. The gym's hours are 9:00 to 18:00, which makes it impossible for tourists to use the facility as they need. When I asked if they could open earlier, they firmly refused, even though the fitness area doesn't require a staff member to be there.

Every staff member was friendly, helpful and very professional. The rooms were comfortable and nice, and cleaned daily. The facilities were top notch. I highly recommend this hotel.
