The good parts were the clean rooms, two nice pools, nearby shops and easy transport links. Thanks to the cleaning ladies, they did a decent job. But this felt more like a hostel, and the noise was awful: people coming back drunk at 3 am and quad teams outside the window at 6 am in the nearby square. I wouldn’t eat there either. The breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had, even worse than during my hospital stay. The margarine tasted like some kind of chemical, and I still have no idea what it was. I couldn’t get Wi-Fi in either the room or the lobby. On arrival, I had to sign a list of rules about damage and the hotel’s liability waiver, then leave a €100 cash deposit. I got in at midnight and didn’t get to bed until 1 am.

The location is the one good thing here, but it doesn’t make up for everything else. The place felt old and neglected, with dirty showers, filthy floors and almost no cleaning. We had no hot water at all for the first three days, so a proper shower wasn’t possible. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, with no manners or professionalism. The blonde receptionist never greeted us or even made eye contact, and came across as rude and arrogant. I’d avoid this place.

It’s an older place and you can see its age. For a short stay focused on the beach, it might pass, but the price is above what I’d call average. The parking is actually a public lot a block away, usually full, so we spent the night looking for a space. Wi-Fi barely worked, with no signal on the upper floors. The TV had no reception beyond a few fuzzy channels, and none of the major ones. The location is great, but beyond that I wouldn’t recommend it.

We had booked three rooms and arrived late at night to find them all in an unacceptable state. There were hairs, ants, centipedes and other insects throughout, and it looked like nothing had been cleaned. We couldn’t stay there like that. The hotel offered cleaning or room changes the next morning after we contacted them, but we needed a clean, safe place to sleep that night. The rooms should have been ready in the first place, so we had to find somewhere else. We asked for a refund and were refused. Instead, they offered a voucher for a future visit, which is no use to us since we have no plans or ability to return. The so-called goodwill gesture felt hollow. We lost our full payment. Based on the poor hygiene, lack of response and refusal to take responsibility, I’d strongly advise against booking. They won’t refund you under any circumstances. P.S.
