They charged my card for half the booking nine months before my stay, without making clear in advance how much the deposit would be or when it would be taken. I canceled after discovering this and got the deposit back minus 20 euros. A deposit is fine when the terms are clearly explained, but this felt dishonest and unfair. I would avoid booking here.

The bed was harder than we liked, which cost the room a mark. Otherwise, it was a lovely self-catering apartment with a small bathroom and, as far as we could tell, all the equipment needed for cooking. We didn't cook during our stay. The owner was very welcoming, and the first-floor balcony looked out over Keri bay with a stunning view.

The room had an amazing view, and the location made it easy to explore the whole island. The bathroom could use improvement, especially the uncomfortable shower and toilet. Towels were changed every four days.

We spent two unforgettable weeks here. The sunrise over the sea and Marathonisi was magnificent, and having breakfast on the open balcony was lovely. There is convenient parking and a barbecue area on the grounds. The rooms and kitchens are small, and the kitchen and bathroom fixtures are quite old, but the sea and island views are a major plus.

The view is one of the best we've had at a hotel or apartment. The bathroom has recently been modernized to such a high standard that I'd like the same at home. The room was cleaned daily, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We've eaten there several times, and there are also some great restaurants nearby.
