I spent four nights here while helping friends on the mainland repair damage from the September storms. We had the south facing top floor apartment, with a view over the pool, harbour and sea. The guest house was clean and lovely, and Stavros kept the small pool spotless. It’s just minutes from the main strip in Skiathos Town. There are plenty of inexpensive restaurants, and a small supermarket down the road for groceries. There’s also a bakery almost next door, open on Sundays, with amazing food. Would I stay again? Of course!

We were lucky to find an apartment after a last minute cancellation, and the hosts were warm and genuine from beginning to end. The location is excellent, with everything within a 5-10 minute walk. Our bright, spacious room was cleaned to a high standard every day. You can see the care that went into building the apartments, and everything is maintained really well. The outside pool area was especially nice, with Stavros keeping it looking its best. We’d absolutely recommend staying here in Skiathos and would gladly return.

We’re counting down to our third visit in a row to Anthena, for a week starting Tuesday, June 24th. The location is lovely, and the hosts, Stavros& Rania, are fabulous and always ready to help. Anthena Studios is a lovely choice for a relaxing holiday on Skiathos. It’s close to everything you’d want, just a few blocks away, and there’s a pool for a dip on hot days. The family hosting is warm and friendly, and the rooms are very clean. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

A definite five star hotel, with fabulous hosts in stavros & rania. My wife June Spence posted a review earlier but accidentally gave it one star. Sorry about that, this is our third stay at the anthenastudios.
