Lindos Horizon

The sunrise over Lindos is stunning, and the Greek breakfast is huge and good value. We only used the pool a little, but the breakfast and snack menu has something for everyone at reasonable prices. It’s a bit of a walk down to town, though that helps work off the ice cream. The owners and staff were warm and welcoming, and the cleaners did a great job. Our room was just right, if a little dated, as rooms seem to be everywhere. We’ve just come back from two weeks and couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll definitely return. I’d give it six stars if I could.

We loved it enough to book again for 2026, and my partner is already looking forward to her second visit. I last stayed at Lindos Horizon 15 years ago, and after these 10 days it’s still just as wonderful as I remembered. The atmosphere, food and drinks were all lovely, and the people made it special, especially owner Stavros and his family. I’d give the whole place 10 stars if I could. We can’t wait to come back.

The pool has room for everyone, with a bar where you can sit with a cocktail. I especially liked the pina colada and mai tai. The place is peaceful, guests are considerate, and it’s easy to get to Lindos town. From here you can see the Acropolis glowing at sunset, and the scenery is incredible. Everyone we met was friendly, and it felt like a place where you could make good friends. I was the only vegan in my family, so I spoke with Stavros about dinner on the nights we ate in. He made me suitable meals, and they were delicious, especially the houmous. Stavros, Besar, Aris and Renq were lovely hosts, always ready to chat or help, and worked incredibly hard in the heat and through all conditions to look after guests. My family and I loved the holiday. Thanks to Stavros and the team for everything.

There are usually few, if any, children here at this time of year. It’s a self-catering place, though they also serve food like you’d get in a pub. My wife has been coming for 27 years and has never had a complaint. Lindos town has something for everyone.
