Kochili

This is a small, family-run place by the beach, in a peaceful, quiet village. The accommodation is fair and comfortable, and hygiene is at a very high level. Everyone was pleasant and tried their best to make our stay special, from the cleaning lady to Mrs.Balaperi, the manager. We were welcomed with a basket of olives, fig jam and honey, plus a bottle of olive oil with rossmary. The next day brought spanakopita, cheese and spinach pie. We’re having a unique, very peaceful vacation so far. Hospitality and kindness are what would make this feel like a proud five-star hotel. Other Greek room renters could learn from this team.

The overall experience was very positive and good value. Staff were polite and kind, with a beautiful beach and good tavernas close to the apartments. Our Superior room was small but worked for the three of us. The downside was having no hot water in the morning when we wanted to shower.

We booked through an agency and found the room clean, but the bathroom had no window or working ventilation, so we had to leave its door open. With no shower curtain, we had to mop the whole floor after each shower. There was no washing machine or laundry room either. Halfway through the stay, the room was cleaned, but staff came back while we were out and went through our things. I really disliked that. Our money and documents were in a drawer. Nothing was taken, but I didn't appreciate anyone going through our belongings.

Korina and the staff were always polite and happy to help with information about activities, places to visit and things to do. The restored rooms are lovely, air-conditioned and have fast, stable Wi-Fi; they're cleaned every day. The hotel also has a shared kitchen with all the equipment needed for cooking. It's very clean, and while there's no private parking, finding a spot on the nearby streets is easy.
