The rooms are basic, with a simple bathroom and kitchenette, but there’s a nice rooftop with chairs for eating or reading. It’s clean and well maintained by Rei, who’s always smiling. The location is excellent, a minute’s walk from the busy centre, and about five minutes from the beach and akropolis. There’s no WiFi at the accommodation, though most bars and restaurants in Lindos have free WiFi, and roaming reception is good.

The terrace view was the only good part of the stay. We were given a terrible welcome: there’s no sign at the entrance, they couldn’t even tell us where the hotel was, and reception is handled by the cleaning lady. There were ants in the bathroom and a constant sewage smell in the kitchen. Booking.com says Wi-Fi and air conditioning are included, but there was no Wi-Fi and air conditioning cost extra. They provided half a roll of toilet paper at the start; when it ran out, we had to buy more and show proof.
