Lindos Nest

There was no communication before the holiday, but the staff were friendly while we were there. The hotel is out of the way, which worked well for a peaceful trip. We were surprised to find a jacuzzi on the balcony, along with a lovely sea view. For what we paid, the view and quiet setting were worth it. It would be nice to have dinner available in the evening, though the shop inside reception was great.

Everything at the hotel was spot on, especially the staff. Sam and Anna helped make the trip memorable, and we’ll definitely be back. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. I booked a private pool and sea view, and it was beyond expectations, fantastic value for money. Other places would charge a fortune for a pool and a view like that. We had a car, and parking around the hotel was plentiful and convenient. There’s also a free shuttle to the beach each day between 10:00 and 16:00. Lindos and Pefkos were both a short drive away, making it easy to explore. We’ll definitely return. The peaceful setting, lovely pool and usually available sunbeds made it easy to relax. The view of the surrounding landscape is stunning, and the price is amazing for what you get. Our room was clean, modern and well designed, with effective air conditioning and a nice bathroom. I liked the layout, with the sink outside the toilet, and the room was cleaned daily and kept fresh. Breakfast was very good for the price, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The view across Pefkos bay is stunning. We enjoyed our private pool, though the deep, unusual overflow channel trapped inflatables and could do with a design rethink. The hotel’s main pool was clean, and there were usually sunbeds available. The 24-hour shop on site was handy, though it would be good if it stocked more essentials, like sun cream. We didn’t try the free shuttle to Lindos or Pefkos, but other guests seemed happy with it. Taxi fares for the same trip ranged from €5 to €11, so confirm the price first. Our room was comfortable and cleaned daily, with fresh towels and bedding. Breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold food, pastries, fruit, cereals and drinks. A second toaster would help. The hotel is modern, very clean and has a warm, friendly feel. Flora at reception and Manos at the pool bar were particularly welcoming and helpful. We had a mix-up on arrival and were given the wrong room, despite booking one with a private pool, but Flora fixed it the next morning. There were a few things that got in the way of an otherwise lovely stay. Soundproofing was poor, and noise from staff and other guests often disturbed us, especially early in the morning. Staff smoking indoors left the corridors smelling of cigarettes, and the manager smoked in the breakfast area, which wasn’t pleasant during meals. Some of the area outside the hotel perimeter was scruffy and littered. Hot water was occasionally unreliable. The hotel provides slippers, but they have no grip and aren’t safe on a wet floor. We’d happily return, as the hotel is great and could be even better with a few fixes.
