PALS Studios Lindos

The thing that really did it for me was the hornet building a nest in room no 1. It kept coming back through the large gap around the door frame. I emailed Tony about getting it dealt with, but he said there was no hornet. Tony, as I said, here’s the video. I also had the sewer smell and music going until 3am, and when the taxi dropped me at the wrong studio, manager Tony was rude and unhelpful. I’d tried to tell the driver pals lindos, but he insisted it was the same place. That’s not a nice way to treat a woman travelling alone. Pay a little more and avoid this scummy place. The management is awful and lies. And if you tell locals you’re Irish, you may find out what the rhodes people really think of the English. Just a tad racist.

A really good spot for the village.

We had paid in advance and were travelling with two minors, but the owner, Antonios, wrongly thought we were late for check-in, verbally attacked us, and sent us away without reason. He even threw our suitcase off his property. We called the police, but they never showed up, so his awful behavior went unpunished. It was an indescribable ordeal, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. This is a terrible place, and I strongly advise against booking it.

Two nights in hell. The standard studio is under Mezze Champagne, a bar/club that plays music from 6 PM to 2 AM. The walls shook so badly we could barely hear each other, and the flimsy door had holes that let the light straight through. We could get no Wi-Fi password despite messaging. The place was filthy: dusty floors, horribly dirty dishes (three glasses and a pot), a broken light, and a bathroom that was a constant struggle. Even the tap water smelled so bad that brushing our teeth was impossible. I haven’t left a negative review in over 10 years, but this was a complete disaster I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Avoid Lindos at all costs. The town is quite pretty but decidedly touristy, a single day is enough, the beaches are overcrowded, and sewage flows freely into them.
