Sfendamos Wood Village

We came for my husband’s birthday, and the hosts had decorated our room so beautifully that it felt warm and welcoming as soon as we arrived. Mr. Merkos, Ms. Maria, and Demetris took such genuine care of us and went out of their way to make the stay special. The restaurant food was amazing, and we enjoyed the coffee too. The cabin was spotless, and you could see the care put into every corner of the property. The views were breathtaking and so peaceful. The adorable dogs made it even more special. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return. A wonderful place for a special occasion or a quiet getaway. Thank you for everything!

We stayed three nights for a Greek wedding held at standard wood village, and it was amazing. The food was very fresh and delicious. It’s a family business, and the people there were wonderful and ready to help. Such an amazing place, like a little heaven on earth in Greece. It would also be an incredible mountain setting for a wedding. The photos say it all. Highly recommended.

The wooden cabins are cozy and set in a peaceful natural area, with friendly staff and 3-5 Pigadia Ski Resort nearby. It’s expensive, but really nice if you can afford it.

The owners made this stay especially memorable. When one of our friends got sick and stayed back at the cabin, they checked whether I needed help and arranged for the cleaner not to disturb them. The next morning, they even tried to adapt breakfast to help our friend recover and offered assistance again. The cabins are clean, well cared for and stocked with what you need for a short stay. You’re surrounded by lovely scenery in every season, and in winter the snowy mountain views are beautiful. Sfendamos is an easy drive, about seven minutes, from the 3 - 5 Pigadia Ski resort. There’s free parking by the entrance, and you can bring the car closer to your cabin to unload if needed. The reception bar and restaurant has elegant decor and huge windows overlooking the mountains. The food is well cooked with locally sourced ingredients, and there are lots of regional wines. The staff know the menu and can suggest good choices. A peaceful break from busy everyday life, with fresh air and wonderful nature all around. Thank you for everything.
