Villa Seashell in Rhodes

We got bitten by bedbugs several times during our stay. The owner took no action and offered no compensation, just sent long emails. For what this costs, it’s a terrible deal, especially when you’d expect more care from a place called a villa with that view and pool. The pool and terrace are nice, but there’s almost no pool lighting and hardly any on the terrace, so evenings outside weren’t very enjoyable. The beds are stiff, the couch and kitchen appliances are very old, and there are yellowed patches of wear everywhere. The AC leaks, and there were power cuts. Those were mentioned only after we’d booked, though they were communicated in advance of the stay. In person, the whole place felt like the owner wasn’t putting anything back into it.
