Villa Stella

The location is excellent, very close to the beach, with a wonderful view. For six people, the accommodation is very small. Four at most, otherwise you’re on top of each other. There isn’t a living area, just a kitchen and bedrooms. We had many long power cuts during the forest fires. I know that wasn’t the owners’ fault, but in the dark I couldn’t even see my hand in front of my face, which made changing my nine-week-old baby’s nappy impossible. The owners were furious and rude about a wet bed, even though she was only nine weeks old. One night I went to a local hotel with generators so I could feed and change her with the lights on, without worrying about being told off. Maybe avoid this place if you have a child in nappies.
