Villa Sokaki

Stefanos arranged for us and our luggage to be taken to the reception area by buggy on our departure day. We stayed with my husband from 30/09/24 to 11/10/24, and I’d stay here again. The villa was in a lane behind the main shopping street, near the shops, bars, and restaurants. Stefanos met us at reception, walked us through town to the villa, explained the safe code, air conditioning, cleaning schedule, and who to call if we needed anything. There were two cold bottles of water in the fridge and a complimentary box of sweets and honey from Stefanos. The living room and kitchen diner were spacious, well arranged, and spotless. Upstairs, the double room had a dressing room with plenty of cupboard space, a safe to use, and an iron and board. The metal frame bed was comfortable, and the room was nicely decorated. The twin room had Lindian style beds, plenty of storage, and a large bureau that also served as a dressing table. The bathroom had a large shower and built-in hairdryer. There were lots of towels, changed three times during our stay, and the bins were emptied on cleaning days. On hot days, the air conditioning was very welcome, and the place cooled quickly.

The villa is central, spacious, and well equipped, with towels, kitchen utensils, air conditioning, bedding, and even bottles of water waiting in the fridge. It was very clean too. There were only two of us, but there’s room for four. The cleaner came twice during the week to change towels, empty bins, and mop the floors. One evening the power tripped. We messaged the team on WhatsApp, and two maintenance workers arrived within 30 minutes and fixed it in seconds. They checked in the next morning to see if everything was okay. Shops, restaurants, and bars are a 20-second walk away, yet the villa is quiet since it’s off the main streets. The main beach takes 10-15 minutes on foot. We’d return without hesitation. Thank you!
