After years of summer trips around my homeland, these studios in Kithira stood out for their high standards and the genuine warmth of the owners and staff. Mr Michalis, clearly a tourism professional, is quick to help with vacation services. The apartments are thoughtfully designed, bright, clean, comfortable, and fully functional. Greek hospitality at its best, a real gem!

Livadi’s right in the middle of the island, so it’s a handy base for heading out on different excursions each day. The rooms are cozy and spacious, with parking available. Cleaning is provided every three days.

For a cheap holiday, this can be a good choice if you’re fine driving or biking to the beach. With a car, motorbike, or bicycle, the location works well for exploring the island, but you can’t walk to the beach, and you can’t even see it from here. It feels more like being in a valley than on an island. The people running the place are friendly, and the rooms are clean, though a bit old-fashioned. If you only need a bed to rest at a good price, that may not matter much.

Room 105 worked perfectly for us, with a small kitchenette, a nice balcony, and a very clean interior. This is a great budget hotel just outside Livadi, and Michalis is a very friendly owner. It’s well placed for beaches, with good taverns not too far away. Highly recommended!
