The staff were polite, welcoming, and informative, and I liked the quiet, convenient location and its nice view. The windy nights were a plus too. But the place was overpriced, poorly maintained, and not very clean. There were musty smells throughout, especially in the bathroom. No toiletries were provided, and there was only one bed sheet to use as a blanket for the night.

The young man who welcomed us didn’t answer our calls, even though we were sending photos. We were very grateful when Andreas from Filoxenes Katoikies responded and did everything he could to find us acceptable accommodation at Terra Oliva apartments. Thank you very much, Andreas. After our first night, we found the bathroom flooded with toilet water, all the way up to the stairs to the main kitchen and salon. There were dead insects on the floor, probably because the gaps in the doors and windows weren’t covered. The bathroom smelled awful, and the rooms had bad smells. The shower setup was just a handheld shower phone with no stand and no curtain, so water went all over the small bathroom. There were no toiletries, and the only blanket was a single bed sheet for the night. The old AC was very noisy. The staff were very polite, welcoming, and informative, and the location was quiet, with a nice veranda view, roughly in the middle of the island. The apartments are traditional, but aside from the decoration there hasn’t been improvement inside, and the property isn’t maintained well enough. You have to call a cellphone for everything. It was overpriced for the adventure we got!

The family running the place were really friendly, and we found it very comfortable when we stayed in 2022.

The location is very good, and the meadow has everything you need, with good quality. The staff we met on the first day were cheerful and polite. Still, this sounds exactly like what Evangelos P described three years earlier, and things were much the same in 2025. At 150+ a night, the price felt unjustified, even allowing for how expensive everything is now. For a 3-star place, I’d say it’s a clean 2.5/5 at best. The rooms were very low quality when it came to cleanliness, with bugs and a dirty floor. I know you’re in nature, but the kitchen really shouldn’t be like that in 2025, especially at that price. The air conditioner worked fine, but smelled like it hadn’t been cleaned or maintained. The bathroom was worst: there were liquids, and it smelled like a cesspool for all six days. One afternoon a man came to empty the cesspool, but I’m amazed our family didn’t dry out from the smell. If you’re a light sleeper, you won’t sleep well. The wind blows endlessly there, and the awnings, trees, wood, metal shutters, everything, keeps banging. Garbage, sheets, and towels weren’t changed during our six days. I threw them out each day, which I didn’t mind, but there was no bedding or towel change at all.
