Esencia Suites

The rooms at Esencia Suites were spacious, each with air conditioning, and the balconies had a nice view. The host was welcoming, and the location was okay. I stayed from 01.07-08.7. The booking was through airbnb, but the person who made the reservation was lenient in their airbnb review, so I wanted to leave one here. On arrival, the floor was so dirty our one-year-old's feet turned black. We had to sweep and wash it ourselves. The bathrooms were okay, though poorly ventilated, and the kitchen could use more equipment. The fridge smelled a bit odd and wasn't very clean. Wifi was unreliable and slow, with a very weak signal or none at all on the front balcony and in the front bedroom. Hot water meant switching it on and waiting 40-50 minutes. That was especially frustrating after an evening at the beach with a small child who needed a bath. An air conditioner also failed on the first day, and we had to switch off the power and restart it. Some photos make it look as though there's a green grass yard, but there isn't one.
