The balcony looked out over the wide blue sea, and parking was easy. Our spacious room was spotless every day. Sea Breeze Hotel is just a few steps from the water, where the sound of the waves through the open windows helped us fall asleep. We chose it for our holiday in beautiful Lixouri and were so glad we did. Fotini made the stay especially memorable. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine smile won us over from day one. She made us feel at home and cared for, and before long she felt like a friend. We left with full hearts, happy to have found both a wonderful holiday spot and a new friendship. Thank you, Fotini. From the studio balcony I had a direct view of the sea and Argostoli, which I really enjoyed. Mine was the top middle studio in this classic, simple Greek accommodation. There's a nice tree full of cicadas, so expect the noise if you don't rent the air conditioning, which costs 7€ a day. You can also relax on the shared ground floor terrace. The owner is friendly, helpful, and speaks English very well. They clean daily and provide fresh laundry every three days. The beach in front is usually empty, though the water is shallow and full of grass and rocks, so the clean beach near the city is a better option. Lixouri center, with lots of tavernas, is a 20 minute walk. There's a supermarket halfway along.

The owner was so kind, and we felt comfortable and happy the whole trip. Kefalonia is a wonderful island with lovely beaches. Sea Breeze apartments are just steps from a small "private" beach, and close to the more established Lepeda beach.

We only came for a few nights to attend a wedding, and I wish we could've stayed longer. The room was comfortable, quiet, and air conditioned. You can walk about 10 minutes either way to reach Lixouri center or a gorgeous beach, where two chairs and an umbrella cost 5 euros to rent. The front desk host was the best part. Take all her recommendations, trust me! We loved our stay and hope to be back soon.
