Harmony Hotel Apartments

We keep coming back when we’re in the area because the staff are always so friendly. The hotel is quiet, and there’s always a space at the pool. The beach is within walking distance, and there’s lots of parking right out front. The apartments are spacious, very clean, and full of thoughtful details, with either a balcony or a terrace.

The homemade jams at breakfast are delicious, so I’d definitely pay for breakfast. It’s a pet-friendly hotel within walking distance of the beach, with very clean rooms and pool. The staff are kind and attentive, and their English is good. Great value for money. I’d happily stay again.

Our days at Harmony Hotel Apartments were a mix of relaxing by the pool or beach and visiting ancient ruins and museums. That balance made it feel like a little bit of paradise for the body, mind, and soul. My wife and I came to Athens and Longos in May 2014, and this trip surpassed all my earlier travels, including trips to Poland and the Soviet Union in the early 1970s, which had been my most enjoyable and interesting ones until then. Harmony’s apartments and pool are beautifully designed and very well maintained. Owners John and Christos and the staff have plenty of character, and they were very helpful whenever we had questions. The nearby towns of Longos and Selianitika share a beautiful beach on the south shore of the Gulf of Corinth, with many outdoor restaurants along it. Esperides had the best Greek Salad we came across, plus fine seafood. In central Selianitika, we found a Super Market with a respectable wine selection, two outdoor vegetable markets, bread and pastry shops, and an ATM. That machine sometimes runs out of Euros, but nearby Aigio has lots of ATMs and a little cafe called Frozen Yogurt on the Go. Longos is also well placed for visiting Delphi, Olympia, Mycenae, Epidaurus, Argos, and Nafplion, all about a two-hour drive each way. The Greeks we met were very friendly and helpful. Near Mycenae, a woman at a family-run souvenir shop offered desserts and talked about her family history. She made us feel truly welcome, and her souvenirs, some replicas and some made by the family, stood apart from what nearby competitors sold.

The hosts and staff were the friendliest I’ve come across. It’s a lovely little hotel, with a clean, cozy maisonette apartment and a nice, well-kept pool. The beach is a two-minute walk away. Rike and I are looking forward to visiting again. Best wishes, Rike and Jan
