Maria Apartments

Maria took such good care of us. We were two exhausted travelers, and she made us feel comfortable and helped us a lot. I don't think you'll find a more honest, helpful, or pleasant host.

The team was kind and quick to help. When the refrigerator broke, a replacement arrived the next day. We also lost the AC remote, but even late at night they managed to find another one. Garbage bags were changed every day, and the sheets and towels were replaced during a full clean every four days. Our apartment had a separate bedroom, a living room with a well-equipped kitchen, a big shower, and a large balcony wrapping around two sides. The mattresses were firm, and the outside shutters kept the room dark. It sits up on a hill near Dionysus Taverna. The beach is about a kilometer downhill, so the walk back is quite a climb. Maria Apartments is actually here, close to the bus stop and Dionysus Taverna. Google also gives a different, incorrect spot, which could make ordering a taxi or renting a car a bit troublesome. Since it's on a main road, evenings and nights were noisy, especially with scooters and motorbikes. Tiny ants got into our bed near the end of the stay, but thankfully they didn't bite.
