From the start, the room had a suffocating stench, and the bathroom smelled so bad it was impossible to use. Mold and dampness seemed to be everywhere, and the air conditioning didn’t work properly and may have caused the problem. The room was desperately small, with hard, uncomfortable mattresses that left us stuck and in pain. The pillows felt like rocks. There wasn’t even a mirror, which made us feel completely cut off from reality. The furniture was hopelessly old and worn, including a wardrobe full of mold. The exterior door was so old and worn out that someone could easily break in. There was no security. The online photos were a lie, and the room didn’t have the kitchen shown in them. The owner never greeted us. When we finally got in touch, she was extremely rude. She charged us more than we should have paid and never refunded it. Retro rooms was a nightmare, with dirt, stench and squalor in every corner. If you dare to book there, be prepared for one of the worst experiences of your life. Avoid it at all costs!

We booked to stay from 12-18/8, but the room was disgustingly dirty and smelled so bad that we left after one night, the next morning. The owner kept half of what we had paid and never replied or apologized, even though we called and messaged her. She charged us an extra 200€ and never refunded it either. After leaving, we stayed at almyra holiday village, which had nothing to do with this accommodation. I highly recommend booking there if you want a nice stay. Our stay at retro rooms was disappointing and far from what we expected. The room was extremely small and uncomfortable. The mattresses were so hard we could hardly sleep, and the pillows were literally like rocks. There wasn’t even a mirror. A strong unpleasant smell came from either the bathroom or the air conditioner, which wasn’t working properly. Even with it on, the room didn’t cool down and felt suffocating. The external door was old and looked easy to break into. The website photos were a pure fraud and did not reflect reality. Despite the assurances, there was no kitchen in the room. The owner never came to greet us and was extremely rude when we contacted her. The room was disgustingly dirty, none of the promises matched reality, and the experience was traumatic. The owners are also thieves. If you’re thinking of staying here, think again. Stay away!

Mr. Damos Giorgos and Mrs. Damos Irini sent this threatening message to the accommodation where we stayed, Retro rooms Ermou 37 Loutra Edipsou. I saw it with my own eyes and found it unacceptable, so they decided I should publish it exactly as they sent it. Ignore the comments from them and their friends. The accommodation is very decent. “Either you send me half the amount back and I delete the reviews on your site or we leave it as it is and add another one from my wife's mobile phone. You choose!”

The lady was so kind. She came to say goodbye before we left. We had a lovely week there with my husband, and the room was very clean and quiet. All the shops were right next to it.
