The surrounding nature was incredible, and I loved the view and the cats wandering around the complex, especially the ginger one. I really wonder if he was adopted or is still there. We visited in August 2022 and stayed in the older “Poseidon” section, about four stars. The rooms were clean and very nice, and the restaurant food was pleasant, though repetitive. The beach was disappointing, small and overcrowded in season, with one part concreted and the other not fully prepared for guests. Without a car to get out of the hotel complex, we got bored pretty soon. Still, it could be good for a family holiday.

The oceanfront setting and mountain view were the only good things here, and you can find those elsewhere. The hotel advertises an “indoor heated pool” and a “mini golf course,” but neither is really available. The indoor pool room is freezing and filled with mattresses and chairs, while the mini golf course looks like it hasn't been maintained in years. The service at the Taverna restaurant was the worst I've experienced. We had a reservation, sat down, and were told the kitchen needed another 30 minutes, even though the restaurant was relatively empty. We didn't mind waiting, but even basic requests like water took 10 minutes. The whole experience was terrible. If you want a good dining experience, don't go here, and do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

The setting among the trees on a cliff has a spectacular view, and the water was so clear and full of marine life that snorkeling was a real pleasure. We went down to the sea by the ladder from the pool area. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good, and we had a lot of fun at the evening events, especially Greek night. Our room was renovated, had a nice sea view, and was far away, with a very good mattress that we appreciated. Some parts are dated. The pool toilets smelled bad, the changing-room doors need replacing, and the rusty pool ladder should be replaced too. The breakfast juice was also awful, just sugar, color, and flavoring, which is especially disappointing in a country with so many orange trees. Elevators would help in some areas, since climbing the stairs to side rooms every time is exhausting.

The food was delicious and nicely prepared. There wasn't as much choice as in big hotels in Turkey, but there was something for everyone, and they specially made food for our daughter when she had stomach problems. Staff were kind and met every request. Our room was cleaned daily, towels were changed every day, and the bedding was changed twice during our 10 days after we left the paper asking for it. Internet worked perfectly in the rooms, though the signal dropped in some parts of the resort. It worked around the pool. As a family with two small children, we were very pleased. It's not a luxury five-star place, but nothing bothered us. The grounds are beautiful and green, and our bungalow was just above the restaurant, near the pools and sea. Some families with small children had rooms higher up the hill, but no one seemed bothered by that. The resort is accessible for people with disabilities, and baby strollers are easy to use. We went in the first half of September, so it wasn't crowded and loungers were always free. Beach towels are available at reception for a €10 deposit each; you can exchange them daily and get the deposit back at the end. There are several small pebble beaches, and the sea is clean and warm. Lutraki is five minutes away by taxi, costing 9 euros each way.
