I paid in advance through Booking for a three-night hotel stay, but when I arrived, I was told without prior notice or any explanation that I'd have to move to a different establishment, Kyma. The room there was smaller and lower level, and I wasn't given the cleaning service I'd paid for. I opened a dispute through Booking. This hotel is unreliable and its conduct wasn't transparent.

We made a snap decision to stay at Faros for the night during a day trip to Loutro, so my wife and I could spend a full day in the village. It turned out marvellous. Our clean, nice apartment had a spacious room, ocean-view balcony with a table, chairs, and umbrella, a big fridge, and very efficient air conditioning. The apartments are above a small convenience store where you can pick up fresh fruit, wine, beer, and snacks for the evening. I also loved the vacation library, where guests leave books when they're done. I counted at least five languages. Absolutely worth a stay. The only downside was the very poor WiFi, though we could live with it. The photos show the view from the balcony.
