We stayed in the last week of June and loved the cozy, elegant, very clean villa. Its parking area was handy, especially once you realize how difficult parking can be. The pool area was cozy too, and the pool stayed clean without a chemical smell. One thing that may feel odd is that the pool maintenance person can enter the pool area while villas are occupied. The view and sunsets from the terrace were awesome. Beaches are about 15 or 30 minutes away by car, and around 300 meters before the villa there are several restaurants with great food, plus two little markets with fresh vegetables, fruit, and lots of other things. The host was super kind and stayed in touch in case we needed anything. We also loved that the housekeeper cleaned the whole villa on Wednesday, making it like the first day again.

The lady and gentleman working there were very polite, which was the bright spot. The place itself was okay, but they had forgotten our check-in, leaving us in the car with the baby for 30 minutes. Although they said a baby cot was available, its mattress was missing. We also left a watch charger behind. For two and a half months, after more than ten messages asking them to send it by local post, they kept joking that they would do it, then kept it.

We stayed at Villa Dioni, where the private pool was a lovely spot to spend the day in the sun. Shops and places to eat are within walking distance, so we could enjoy the neighborhood without driving far. Anna was an incredible host and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The villa had good rooms for the whole family, a full kitchen, and a spacious bathroom. It’s a wonderful place to unwind from a busy life while looking out over the ocean and hills of Kefalonia. We were sorry to leave.
