Athena was really kind, and her little tavern nearby quickly became my go-to spot for dinner. I stayed for a quiet weekend, though I can see this apartment working well for a longer family stay too. It had a well-equipped kitchen with all kinds of dishes, cutlery and utensils, plus a big dining table. There were two spacious bedrooms with cabinets, a small, cozy living room, and a bathroom with a washing machine. Highly recommend!

The road to Makrades is bumpy and has lots of curves, so keep that in mind. But with a car or another vehicle, this is a really good base for exploring the island. The bedding was great, the bathtub lovely, and the jacuzzi is a must. Athenea was an amazing hostess and did everything she could to make us feel at home. When I lost my wallet, she even tried to help, though unfortunately it wasn’t possible. Such a wonderful place, with even more wonderful people.

The hosts made us feel welcome, and the holiday felt as relaxing as it should. The spaces were very cozy and had all the necessary utilities.

The cleaning lady comes once a week. The Wi-Fi works on and off, there’s no electrical outlet in the kitchen, and the water is cold at night.
