Maria takes such good care of the guests and apartments, and the owners are really nice. My small apartment was lovely, clean, and not expensive at all. I loved the balcony view and the quiet surroundings, though it’s only five minutes to the beach and the village’s summer life. I’d highly recommend this safe, peaceful place for a lovely holiday and as a good base for discovering the wonderful Isle of Crete.

Maria does all she can to make your stay more pleasant, and the rooms are large, very clean, and packed with amenities. The view is fantastic, with nothing in the way. It’s a five-minute walk to the main beach of Makry Gialos, where you can find anything you need, and also five minutes to the perfect beach at Kalamokanias.

We’ve stayed here before and keep coming back. Maria is a great landlady, and there may be raki, wine, and homemade food waiting in your room. Prices are very reasonable. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and the location works well, close to the centre but still very quiet.
