The location was quite nice, and our host seemed like a friendly, decent guy who gave good service. We chose Theodora because it was near where we parked and because our booking mentioned a sea view room, which sounded amazing. The room itself was a bit of a letdown, though. Honestly, it didn’t feel clean. The pillows looked yellowish, there was dust in several places, and the whole room felt a bit unsanitary. Water was constantly pooling around the toilet because of a leak. We could also hear everyone and everything in the other rooms.

I was absolutely dissatisfied with the cleanliness and the room. There was dust all over the floor, especially underneath the bed, which looked like it hadn’t been mopped at all. The room was cramped, with no hanger for our things. The heater wasn’t on when we arrived, and it stayed so cold that even after a day we couldn’t get warm and comfortable. The duvet was filthy and disgusting to sleep under, and the bathroom lights made a strange noise when switched on. We couldn’t reach the mansion because of the snow, and the receptionist offered us no help when we called.

The location is excellent, close to the village center square. We had a double booking issue, but our host sorted it out and we were able to stay for two nights. The room was nice, though not especially clean; there was hair inside one of the drawers, for example. The walls are very thin, so you can hear everything from the other rooms. The bathroom fan is also rather loud.

I had booked two nights through Booking.com, but then got COVID and couldn’t make the trip. The hotel still charged me for a stay I never took. It was really disappointing to be charged while sick.
