The host was great about accommodating everything we asked for. We had a lovely stay in a quiet spot, with plenty of space, great views, and a very clean place. We'd recommend it without hesitation.

Even with the heatwave pushing temperatures to 40 degrees, we were comfortable because every room had air conditioning. The place was clean, cosy, and well equipped, and they provided two baby beds when we asked. We had a very nice stay.

You can reach the little town from the villas along a charming, winding path down the hillside, and the views over Volos are extraordinary. The whole town is built on a steep slope, and To Stefani Tis Makrinas fits beautifully with its traditional style. The staff were kind and helpful. Really cool place.

My favorite part was the balcony and its amazing view. The apartment was lovely and cosy, with beautiful bedrooms and a fridge, plus what we needed for making coffee and preparing meals. For winter, there’s good heating in every room and a fireplace that makes the place even cosier. I loved staying here, and Makrinitsa too, which you can reach from the apartments by pleasant little paths.

Manager mr Kostas and Ms Alexia are wonderful people. This is affordable luxury in a traditional home, with every comfort you could want and three different ways to heat the place, including a fireplace. It would be my first choice for accommodation in Makrinitsa.
