We were six adults and one infant at Palmariva Beach Hotel in early May, and had a lovely stay. For my first trip with a small child, I was nervous about how my 11 month old would settle into a new place, but she loved it. Florence, Maria, Julia, and all the dining room staff were so kind and helpful. I can't say a bad word about anyone on staff. The views were serene, and it was lovely to wake up to them each morning. It's away from the hustle and bustle, so it suited a quiet family trip to relax. There was a nice pool near the beach, a small playground, and a basketball court. The gym is basic, but fine if you want a little holiday workout. I was there for a birthday and got a lovely spa experience with Theodore and co, which was amazing. There was loads of food, with lots of options and a different theme each night. My only complaint was that dishes weren't labelled clearly enough for our pescatarian and pork-free guest, and there should have been more fish choices. We stayed in the bungalows. I was worried after seeing some negative reviews, but I loved them and we were happy and comfortable in our rooms. The bathrooms could use a little attention. I had a wonderful time and will definitely return.

The beach was clean and really well kept, and the bungalows were great, with WiFi and TV. The food was tasty, the staff very polite, and the massage was excellent.
