Amaronda Resort & Spa

Catching the sunset from the Beach Bar became a daily highlight. The private beach was only a short walk away, with plenty of loungers, and the pool looked lovely at night under the lights. I stayed all-inclusive in a double room with a private balcony overlooking the main pool. The food at Norooz had a generous choice of fresh Greek and international dishes at each meal. Service from the staff was brilliant, and Spyros, the top bartender, helped me find good transport back to athens. Lenga Spa has a sauna, hot tub, and treatments for anyone wanting to unwind. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say. This is one of my top 10 favorite travel spots, five out of five.

Staff were kind and attentive, always ready to help with a smile, and the food was excellent, from breakfast through dinner, with plenty of fresh Greek and international choices. Amaronda Hotel & Spa is elegant and spotless, with a relaxed feel throughout. Its beachfront setting has clear water and lovely views of both sea and mountains. It exceeded my expectations, and I can't wait to come back to Eretria.

We stayed in October in a Junior Suite with Sea View. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel was very comfy and spotless. The pool and sea bar were clean and pleasant, breakfast had a good range, and staff were very friendly and helpful. WiFi was fast and strong throughout, and there was plenty of free parking. The location was okay, about 20 minutes from the city, with not much to do around the hotel. Dinner didn't have a very big selection. The TV had only a few English channels and was far from the bed. There was no bathroom privacy at all, no door or curtain. Value for money: 8-9 out of 10.

I had a really relaxing stay at Amaronda Spa Resort. The staff were friendly and professional, the bed was phenomenal, and I loved the spacious balcony and excellent housekeeping. The pool and private beach stayed clean and well maintained without getting overcrowded. The buffet was varied and tasty, despite what some reviews said, and the hotel's scent was honestly the nicest I've ever experienced. Lenga Cosmetics was a highlight too, both the massage and facial were 10/10. A few things could be better. My standard room had only a suitcase stand instead of a proper wardrobe, and the minibar water wasn't replenished. All-inclusive drinks were weak, while better cocktails cost extra. The food tasted good but was consistently cold. Evening entertainment was almost all in French, since most guests were from France. It didn't bother me much, but I can see it being a dealbreaker for some. As someone with gluten intolerance, I also found snacks limited, mostly pizza and cakes. Chips or low-carb sweets would give guests with dietary restrictions more choices. It's a lovely place to relax, with some room to improve the rooms, drinks, food temperature, entertainment, and snacks.
