Ammos Boutique Apartments & Suites

The outdoor area is lovely, but the expensive superior family suite on the ground floor didn’t live up to what we expected. There were no shutters or window screens, and the bathroom window was kept locked for safety because of where it was positioned. It felt stifling, especially at night. We mentioned all this at checkout, but they tried to justify what was missing instead of taking the feedback well. They even said we were the first customers to raise the lack of these facilities.

The hotel waited for us to arrive even though our flight came in during the middle of the night. Really good service, and the staff were friendly and spoke English well. The hotel, view, and pool looked just like the pictures, maybe even better. There was plenty of good food to choose from. The location worked out perfectly too, with the beach about 30 metres away and the main street full of restaurants and gift shops just 10 metres away. I’m coming back next year. This hotel’s a must!

The pool is lovely and the staff are friendly. The apartments are close to shops and restaurants, and it’s a 10-minute walk to the bottom of Malia strip, where there are plenty more bars.

I’ve never had a worse stay. The apartments look good from the outside, but once you’re in, they’re not even worth one star. The reviews must be fake. The bed feels like a concrete floor, the air conditioning doesn’t work, and although the booking says it’s included, they charge you for it afterward. The electricity went out too, and the service was poor.
