The hotel felt a bit like a student campus, though the double-level apartments were a nice feature. If you rent a car in Stalida, be aware there’s only about a 10% chance you’ll find a parking spot. The beach nearby is neither good nor bad, but about 2 km away toward Malia there’s a pretty wild sandy beach.

We went to the Bar several times last year to hear Pete play live rock music. It was always a great evening, with friendly staff serving drinks and all.
