We’re already planning to return to the Anatoli Apartments next year. After our first visit last year, we booked two two-week holidays for this year as soon as we got home, and we’ll be back again next year. Maria and Nikos, who run the hotel, are always welcoming and happy to help. The apartments are a stone’s throw from the beach, and there’s also a small pool at the side of the hotel when you fancy a break from the sand. The rooms are comfortable, and the facilities are basic but have what you need if you want to eat on your balcony. One small tip: our room only had cups, not mugs, for morning tea or coffee. Next time we’ll pack mugs, though you can get them at the supermarkets for just 2 euros each.

The place was run down and dirty, and we regretted booking it. With the whole covid situation, it was unbelievable that the apartment was this unclean. Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews, which are all from a couple of years ago.

The owners and everyone around were friendly. It’s centrally located, just a few steps from the prettiest beach in the area!
