The one-bedroom apartments are the best rooms, and they're spacious. The accommodation is basic, nothing fancy. For self-catering there's not much to cook with: no microwave, just a two-ring hot plate, frying pan, two pots, a fridge, some utensils, and an electric kettle. Sunbeds are free, the swimming pool is large, and there are lovely grass areas with easy access to the beach.

It's in a fabulous spot, just a one-minute walk to the beach, with restaurants and bars an easy stroll away. The adjoining restaurant is pretty good too. The rooms are lovely and unusual, and each balcony has a clothes airer for drying washing. The staff and family are all fantastic.

The pool is nice, the beach is only a few steps away, and shops are close too. Rooms are large and the service is standard. The staff are friendly, and the food is good at good prices, but the portions were a bit too big for us. Our family can eat a lot, yet we often left food because we were full. Overall, a very good hotel, 4/5 stars.

The pool area was lovely, easily the best thing about the hotel. The place is nice and clean, and the staff are friendly. Food was OK, not great, but there are lots of good restaurants nearby worth exploring. We booked a room with a view and got one facing the street instead. When we asked to change, they refused. Street-side rooms are noisy, and the beds were very uncomfortable because they don't have double beds, so it was hard for a couple to cuddle at night. We had to put up with poor sleep from both the noise and the beds for all 12 days :/

The pool is amazing, clean and not cold, and the only one I know where you get in and don't want to get out. The mussels were the best I've had on the island, absolutely fab. This is a well-run, clean apartment block, close to all amenities and great value for money. The staff are so friendly and always have time for you. We'll be back, thank you Pela Sofia for a fab holiday. See you nxt year.
