We’ve just returned from our second stay at these lovely apartments, and we’ve already booked for next September. The rooms are clean, fresh and modern, right in the middle of Stalis, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, bars and tavernas. George, the manager, was very helpful with the booking. His mother Maria is so friendly and leaves cake in your room, and his father Yiannis can take you to the airport and collect you if needed. The pool area is sunny and clean. We stayed a couple of nights in the ground-floor accessible room. It has a ramp, wet room, wide doors and a small patio, and would be ideal for a disabled guest. I thoroughly recommend Ilios Apartments.

I’ve been coming to Crete from Ireland since 1986, and I’m still going. My children come too now, one is 31 and my daughter is 26. My wife and I have been about 14 times, once to Hersonnis, and now we go to Stalis. The people there are so genuine and brilliant, they’d do anything for you. We stayed at the fan apts in July 2017 for our 30th wedding anniversary. Yanni couldn’t do enough for us. I was disappointed to hear they’d sold it, and nobody has been answering the phone to book accommodation for the last two weeks of August. I’m still looking for a place in that area.
