Malia Holidays Hotel

The garden, full of flowers and trees, felt like a little paradise, and the pool was crystal clear. Its bar had great cocktails and lots of choice. The bartender was one of the nicest people I’ve met at a bar, always smiling and speaking so warmly. We loved how central the hotel was, with clubs and restaurants nearby and the sea just a short walk away. Our room was beautiful and spotless, with housekeeping coming every day. Breakfast offered plenty of options, the coffee was excellent, and the women serving were amazing. Reception was impeccable too. They answered all our questions and helped us a lot, and having someone at the front desk around the clock made us feel safe. My partner and I had one of our best 10-day holidays here. We had such a wonderful time, and we’ll definitely see you again next year. Thank you for everything!

The bar patio was a lovely spot for a few early evening drinks. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and the music was varied and good. The hotel is at the edge of the old town, far enough from the strip to be peaceful. From the cleaners and reception to the night staff and owners, everyone was wonderful. It’s a family-run place with honesty and friendliness throughout. I’d ignore the one or two negative reviews from immature guests. The breakfast needs a serious rethink. It was the same every day and not good at all. My room was dirty and damp, and the shower flooded the bathroom. The two women at reception, one blonde and one brunette, were unpleasant and unhelpful. This hotel doesn’t deserve three stars, more like zero.

We really enjoyed our holiday at Malia Hollidays. The hotel is calm and beautiful, with clean rooms and lovely greenery around the pool. Breakfast was generous, with plenty of cold cuts, juice, fresh vegetables and hot dishes, so there was nothing missing. The location gives you a bit of everything: the hotel is below the beautiful old town and above the party strip. There’s a car/ATV rental directly across the road and the nearest bus stop is only two minutes away. We also found the staff incredibly friendly and always in a good mood. Nightkeeper Alex was especially nice to chat with, kind and friendly, and there whenever we needed something. We felt safe at night. It’s a good place to rest, whether you’re with family or friends. We can really recommend it, and this definitely wasn’t our last stay.
