The best part was the lovely covered verandah right by the water, with that view. There’s also a roof terrace upstairs, though we mostly stayed downstairs. We rented both apartments for eight days in early April with our kids, ages 11 and 13. The flats were simple, clean, and well managed, and Chrissa and Iaonnis were such helpful, charming hosts. Most days we stayed between the house, the beaches, and the restaurant, taking day trips on the couple of cloudy days. Thanks for sharing such a special place with us.

The bay view and location are the big draw here, and the owners are nice. There’s a free stand-up paddleboard to use, and each apartment has its own little garden. Still, for the high-season price, the apartment felt overpriced given a few issues. We had just one key for our group, the kitchen and fridge were both quite small, and there’s only one air conditioner, mounted right above the bed. The safe didn’t work during our visit, and cleaning was postponed more than once. It also felt too infrequent for the price, though there were always plenty of towels. The garden lawn was mostly dried out while we were there, and the translucent parasol didn’t block the sun fully. Beach chairs by the house cost extra, so it would’ve been good to have at least one set included. The place itself is quite small, but the location deserves five stars.

I spent a week here and loved how easy it was to get straight to the sea. Our host was really friendly and supportive, and the place had everything we needed for a relaxing break.

The garden gave the apartment a nice private feel, and the place itself was spectacular. The sea is right outside, and the owners were lovely, always happy to help. There’s a restaurant next door with great food at good prices, plus other places just a short stroll away. We found the whole holiday so relaxing. It was hard to leave, and I’d like to come back.

My wife and I had such romantic days here. We spent time at the beach and wandered around the area, which has lovely cafés and traditional restaurants. We just want to thank the owners of casa Marathi.
