The villa is architect-designed, wonderfully placed at the end of the road, and has a fantastic sea view. Our host was kind and helpful, and the lovely maid made us something tasty each day. There’s a small beach within walking distance with a cafe and restaurant, while a slightly bigger beach is only a few minutes away by car. You can hear some air traffic from Chania airport nearby. For someone interested in aviation, though, it was perfect to watch both civilian and military aircraft taking off and landing. Recommended!
