We enjoyed swimming and walking around Samos, a beautiful island with clean beaches and lovely natural scenery. Mary apartments is a clean, peaceful place to stay, and the owners were hospitable and helped us several times. My wife and I visited the island in July 2011 and stayed at Mary Apartments (Hotel Mary), in Votsalakia. We’re planning to return to Samos and Hotel Mary this August, and we highly recommend it.

The apartments were clean, and ours had a lovely sea view. The owners were very hospitable too. I spent a relaxing week on this wonderful island, and I’d highly recommend spending your holiday here, at this hotel. It’s super!

Filimon, the owner, is a nice guy and gave us some great tips about the island. Hotel Mary is older, but it’s kept very clean and in good shape. The beautiful beach is only a minute away. There aren’t loungers or parasols supplied by the hotel, but you can get food and drinks at reasonable prices on the beach. A good fit if you’re after a relaxing holiday.

We had a great stay with our children, who are 15 and 18. From the pool, we enjoyed a beautiful mountain view, and the pool is small but lovely. The manager cleans it every morning, and the pool bar opens in the evenings, which is really fun. Our room had a fridge and a small stovetop. The manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the beach is less than a two-minute walk away. Restaurants, bars, and plenty of live music are all within walking distance. Highly recommend!
