After our tiring flight from Sydney, we really appreciated how quickly Maria and her husband responded. We’d messaged them only 10 minutes earlier, and he came to pick us up at the airport. My fiance and I had booked the Carpe Diem Apartment for one night, just after arriving in Athens. The place was new, quiet, very well cared for and spotless, with everything we needed to feel at home. The mattress and pillows were especially comfortable and high quality, a rare find in a b&b, and helped us recover after a stressful journey. We also liked the big shower head. There was a lovely green space outside with flowers and trees, a peaceful place to unwind. Some cats might wander by to say hello, and there’s a cute dog who enjoys cuddles. Maria was so welcoming, and we’re grateful to her and George for their hospitality. We warmly recommend staying here when visiting Athens and would return if we’re in the area. 😊🙏

We were so pleased with our stay that we came back a few days later to rest before our early flight home. The room was spotless and comfortable, and having free street parking was a real plus with our rental car. Carpe Diem Apartments worked well for our 2am arrival, since it’s only a 10-minute drive from the airport. Giorgos and Maria welcomed us warmly despite the late hour, and their hospitality made a big difference. Maria recommended Red Paprika (“Red Paprika”), an excellent local grill house about a five-minute walk away. Honestly, it was probably the best meal of our whole trip to Greece. Carpe Diem is a welcoming, reasonably priced and convenient option near Athens airport.

After a long day of travel, Maria showed us around the room so warmly. We were delighted to find fresh croissants waiting as a breakfast snack for the next morning. The apartments are only 10 minutes from the airport, making them a great stopover in Athens. Maria and George were wonderful hosts, and airport pickup and drop-off went smoothly. George kept in touch through WhatsApp, which made the whole process stress-free. A very comfortable and convenient airport stay.

The rooms were nice and clean, and the airport is nearby. Maria, the friendly owner, makes sure you feel comfortable and welcome.

Maria was kind and helpful, and the rooms were clean and comfortable for an overnight stay right by the airport. Excellent place, highly recommend.
