TK1 George Apartments by the Airport

The place is pretty low-key, so read the management's directions before you arrive. I had saved them but forgot to check, and at first the place looked deserted. My taxi driver called, then I remembered the lockbox instructions. The room was right in front of me. It's a big room, with a fridge and water boiler, and the airport is very handy from here. The shower took some figuring out because the hot water is on the right, and it could use a holder for the shower head. Otherwise, I'd recommend it.

I only had a few hours here after arriving past midnight, but the instructions made it easy to find everything and I enjoyed my short stay. At breakfast outside I met the elderly lady next door. I got breakfast at 6:30am from Cafe 13 up the road. Highly recommend this apartment.

You get plenty of hot water, a TV, and decent WiFi, and the airport is nearby. For the price, it's fine basic accommodation and fairly clean. The rooms used to be office space, though, and even with the effort to make them look like apartments, you can still tell. A kettle in each apartment, plus clean mugs and cutlery, would make things much better and wouldn't cost much. Just a few inexpensive touches would improve the stay.

Restaurants and a mini market nearby stay open late, and there's a front patio at the apartment. The place is clean and spacious and good for the price. It's roughly 15 minutes from the airport, about €17 by Uber taxi, and 10 minutes from the nearest metro, around €13 by Uber taxi. They send entry instructions through WhatsApp. I checked in on a weekend and couldn't get a response to my emails, so I had to call.
