Nikolas Studios

At 75€ a night, I expected the room to be in better shape overall. There was a lot of buildup on the sinks, maybe from the salt, and the bathroom was cramped. Metal parts, the pipes, and the little mirror on the left all showed obvious corrosion. The shower doors wouldn’t close fully, so water leaked out, and the water pressure was barely there, like it was stuck on a low setting. The cutlery drawer jammed shut. We ended up turning the furniture around and pulling the cutlery out through a gap at the back. We spent over half an hour at it, hungry and laughing that even the army never made us work this hard just to find cutlery. The balcony screen had a very stiff automatic closing spring for some “unknown” reason, so it kept slamming into the wall and could have caused damage, or worse if a small child was nearby. The balcony chairs were old and dirty. If you just need an apartment and don’t care about these things, you might be fine here. But I’ve stayed in other places in the area for 40-45€ with much better rooms, so I can compare. Think through the room’s pros and cons before booking.
