The balcony and view were nice, which is why I gave two stars. My local boyfriend asked whether the room had air conditioning, and they said yes, but there was only a fan. Our upstairs room got sun all day. We also asked for soap and dish detergent and were told they didn't have to provide them. I've travelled all over the world and never heard such a ridiculous answer. We ended up paying €3 for a small bar of soap. We bought pastries on two mornings: the first were fresh, but the next morning's were cold and stale, apparently leftovers from the day before. We left right after breakfast. Basically, we felt cheated.

Good place for the price, with a nice sea-view terrace, a small parking area, and a family-run minimarket. The location is away from the crowds. The downsides are the very limited basic kitchen equipment and furnishings that feel a little dated.

The good price, €10 out of season, and the shop in the same building were real advantages. It was cleaned about once every three days. At first, nobody was there to meet us and the room hadn't been cleaned, but after we sorted out those initial issues, everything was fine. The stove is very weak, so even boiling water feels like a huge task. I don't know if that's an island-wide problem or just here.

A great place to stay, with a warm, hospitable welcome. The room is spacious and opens onto a large balcony with a fantastic view. Make sure you try the homemade spinach pie!
