Cirillo Family Hotel-Christinas Studios

The service was wonderful, especially when I was worried about getting to the airport at 4am. The front desk arranged a taxi, which arrived at 3:50 that morning. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the hotel had lovely design, with a bar and TV and game lounge. It was an easy walk to the port and most of the shops and restaurants. We booked one night because the hotel was close to the fun town of Mastichari and nearer the airport for our very early flight. I wish we’d had longer there. Couldn’t recommend it more!

The grounds were well kept, the rooms were spacious with good self-catering facilities, and the bar was a friendly place to spend the evening. There were plenty of cats and chickens too. My one regret is that it’s not very close to Mastichari village. The hill up to the hotel is steep and could be hard for people with walking difficulties or anyone bringing small children along.

Getting to the beach takes a manageable 8-minute walk, and the communal areas and backyard were lovely and well kept. The bar had a lot of charm, especially at night. Service was fantastic, helpful, respectful and very friendly, with German and English available. Our modern room was spacious, spotless and beautiful, and the price was very fair. The bed was HUGE and comfortable, the AC was good, and the shower had great water pressure. I’d definitely stay again :)

The renovated rooms were really nice, and I’d happily stay longer than the one night we had before flying home. One of the co-owners we met in the evening seemed a little grumpy. Maybe it was because we didn’t want to spend money at his bar, which I suspect is popular with the package tourists. To be fair, TUI probably doesn’t pay much for the rooms, so he may need to make it up with drinks. The bar wasn’t noisy, though.
