Eurovillage Achilleas Hotel

The hotel is lovely, well cared for, and has very friendly staff. I didn’t try the all-inclusive package, but the breakfast buffet was large and good quality. The leisure area is spacious, with a great pool, and having sunbeds right on the beach in front was a perfect bonus. It’s quite secluded, so you’ll need to rent a car to explore the rest of the island.

We had a lovely stay, and my son especially enjoyed the cats. The staff were friendly and helpful, and when we reported that the safe batteries were low, maintenance came to our room within five minutes. The rooms were spotless and we got fresh towels every day. Even in the off season, the animation team had activities going throughout the day. There was a huge choice of food, and even with special dietary restrictions, we left every meal full. The beach is right by the hotel and was cleaned and raked every morning. We saw lots of beautiful fish in the sea. The shoreline was free of sea urchins; we did spot one, but it was hidden in an underwater crevice more than 100 m offshore.

The hotel garden is very beautiful, and Sofie is the nicest and most beautiful person there. Room 612 was the worst room ever. Be careful if you’re given it! We got Room 612 in the condition shown in the photos.

The rooms were tidy, but the service felt odd, and the whole place had a strange feel to it. Breakfast was plentiful, though the food was pretty gross and uninspiring. It’s a mass-tourism hotspot, so come if that’s the kind of holiday you want.
