The breakfast was poor, and the pool is more for children. The shower is so small that people over 7.8 can’t fit to wash themselves. I also had to pay 5 euros a day for the air conditioning remote, even though the booking price was 100 a night. Is air conditioning not included?

The beds were rock hard, and the rest of the hotel was very hot. They advertised a pool, but it was drained and covered in algae. We were still charged 5 euros per night for air conditioning, which seemed cheap given that the pool listing was misleading. Twice, we left the AC running in the extreme heat and came back during the day to find it had been switched off. There were no “do not disturb” hangers for the door, so I presume staff could enter the room whenever they wanted to clean or turn off the AC. It felt like an invasion of privacy.

I stayed three nights in this cozy place, with lovely surroundings and friendly hosts. It’s an old building, but well maintained. Breakfast was good, better than at most other places on the island.

It was a fine place, but I got annoyed by drunk people in the pool at night, loud conversations in the corridor, and an occasional sewer stink in the room.
